Welcome

The Dolphin Inn is a traditional Cornish Inn nestled in the centre of Grampound.
We are family run, family friendly and serve local real ales and locally sourced homecooked food.

Hello and welcome

A huge hello and a very warm welcome from our family to you and yours.

Over 100 years ago, the Dolphin Inn at Grampound was purchased by the daughter of Walter Hicks, the founder of St Austell Brewery.

Hester Parnall, Walter's third daughter and designated successor, began her tenure as Chairman, after the death of her father and on 1st August 2016 she paid £700 to acquire the pub - securing a valuable watering hole on the company's main delivery route to Truro.

As the only surviving pub in a village that once boasted at least 6, as well as numerous drinking rooms, the Dolphin remains a popular destination pub for villagers and tourists alike and continues to play a key role in the community.

Our family are now the proud custodians of this beloved and beautifully traditional village pub.

We welcome you all with open arms and hope that you will stop by and say hello, and hopefully partake in a pint or two !

All the very best

Neil, Tracey, Robbie and AJ
